In this section, I write about various learning opportunities I’ve had in my fields of interest through volunteering, applicable class assignments, and other unpaid experiences. This section differs from the “Research” menu in that these are not my own personally planned projects. Nonetheless, many of these activities prepared me well for my future career. They also further inflamed my love of studying nature. Whether it be going on a class trip to Catalina Island, spending a summer in South Africa, or taking care of rescued wildlife in Tucson, these are events that won’t so easily be forgotten!
