Research

Here you can read about research that I took a major role in planning and conducting. Thus this is the most exciting section of the website! I started in high school with setting camera traps around my home and in the mountain ranges surrounding Tucson, Arizona. As an undergraduate, I expanded my horizons by learning new methodology and applying that accordingly in the Sonoran Desert and on the nearby Mt. Graham. As a Master’s student, by contrast, I worked heavily with existing data and thereby improved my skills in statistical and geospatial software. My work has landed me at science fairs and professional conferences where I have given poster presentations and oral talks. Moreover, with beginning a doctoral program in Oxford in fall 2023, entailing fieldwork in Uganda, my passion for nature has taken me overseas to research abroad. Stay tuned!
